Flavourful, herby, and cheesy garlic bread. This recipe will make you fall in love with garlic bread even more!
INGREDIENTS
Bread
680g strong bread flour
2 tbsp oil
440ml water (warm)
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
7g instant yeast
Garlic Butter Mix
1 cup plant butter
1-2 cloves of garlic (add more if you want)
1 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
1 tbsp dry parsley
1 tbsp dry oregano
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 cup vegan cheese (add more if you want it more cheesy)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add flour, sugar, salt, yeast to a large mixing bowl, start mixing it together at a low speed, gradually add oil and water until it forms a dough. Mix for 5 minutes at medium to high speed. Let it rise for 1 hour.
2. Add the dough to a floured surface and start punching the air out of the dough. Now use a rolling pin to roll it out flat.
3. Cut the dough into small squares, the size doesn't matter as long as it can fit in your baking tray. Add the garlic butter mixture and cheese, add another dough piece and continue doing the same thing until there are no dough pieces left (see video above).
4. Let the dough rise for an hour or until double in size.
5. Glaze the dough with oat milk, add sea salt and parsley on top and bake 30-35 mins at 180°C.
